About Us Prior to establishment of the @ Cyber Café in August 2003 Ian had spent 2 Years studying I.C.T in Carlisle College and a further 3 years at the University of Northumbria, Matthew spent 2 years in Carlisle studying I.C.T at Carlisle College and a further 3 years at St.Martins in Lancaster. In the Cyber Cafes second year the Learn @ Cyber Café was opened to provide government funded education and training. The contract lasted two years during which the Learn @ Cyber Café helped to educate hundreds of adult learners. Currently Ian and Matthew have a combined 20+ years IT experience ranging from education and training to sales, maintenance and servicing. We have been doing our own computer builds, maintenance, security, and networking since conception and in early 2004 we opened a selection of services commercially to public and other small/medium businesses. We have recently expanded our range and are promoting our I.T services under the name Carlisle Computer Systems. We do everything from database design (usually for client and invoice management) to network installations, PC builds and even recovering lost data. We have always worked on a no-fix no-fee basis, giving free no obligation quotes, and we fully intend to continue this in the future.
